OASSP(Organisation of Allied Space Sciences Professionals) Campus

Advancing the Space Sciences, Together

OASSP(Organisation of Allied Space Sciences Professionals) Campus is the academic and research home of the Organization for Applied Space Sciences Professionals โ€” a non-profit uniting researchers, educators, and mission teams to advance orbital mechanics, astrophysics, and propulsion science through open collaboration and rigorous inquiry.

Our Mission

Why OASSP(Organisation of Allied Space Sciences Professionals) Exists

Since 2011, OASSP(Organisation of Allied Space Sciences Professionals) has worked to close the gap between academic space science and applied mission engineering. We believe the next generation of discoveries โ€” from cislunar logistics to deep-space propulsion โ€” depends on professionals who can move fluidly between theory, laboratory, and flight hardware. OASSP(Organisation of Allied Space Sciences Professionals) Campus exists to train, fund, and connect that community.

Independent & Non-Profit

Governed by working scientists and engineers, not commercial interests โ€” every program is designed to serve the field, not shareholders.

Open Research

Findings, datasets, and mission post-mortems from OASSP(Organisation of Allied Space Sciences Professionals)-affiliated work are published openly to accelerate the field as a whole.

Field-Tested Training

Our fellows and students work alongside practicing mission engineers, not just in the classroom โ€” training built for the realities of spaceflight.

Research Focus

Where We Concentrate Our Work

OASSP(Organisation of Allied Space Sciences Professionals)-affiliated researchers organize around four core disciplines, each with its own working group, publication track, and annual symposium.

Propulsion Systems

Chemical, electric, and emerging propulsion concepts for orbital transfer, deep-space transit, and in-space servicing missions.

Orbital Mechanics & Mission Design

Trajectory optimization, constellation design, and cislunar navigation for both institutional and commercial mission planning.

Astrophysics & Observation

Ground- and space-based observational research, instrumentation design, and data pipelines for large survey collaborations.

Space Systems Engineering

Spacecraft subsystem design, environmental testing, and reliability engineering for small-sat and deep-space platforms.

Our Campus

Facilities & Resources

While OASSP(Organisation of Allied Space Sciences Professionals) operates as a distributed research network, our campus hub coordinates shared facilities, virtual laboratories, and mission-simulation infrastructure for affiliated researchers and students.

Programs

Fellowships & Student Pathways

OASSP(Organisation of Allied Space Sciences Professionals) supports researchers at every career stage, from undergraduate research assistants to senior mission fellows.

Undergraduate Research Track

A year-long mentored research placement pairing students with an OASSP(Organisation of Allied Space Sciences Professionals)-affiliated principal investigator on an active project.

Graduate Mission Fellowship

Funded fellowship supporting thesis research tied directly to a partner mission or observational campaign.

Senior Research Fellowship

Multi-year appointments for established researchers leading OASSP(Organisation of Allied Space Sciences Professionals) working groups and cross-institutional collaborations.

Leadership

Faculty & Research Leadership

OASSP(Organisation of Allied Space Sciences Professionals) Campus is guided by a working board of scientists and engineers active in their respective fields.
